3. Where We Accept Returns

We accept returns from customers within the United States.

4. Return Eligibility

We accept returns for both defective and non-defective products as outlined below.

4.1 Conditions for Return

  • New condition only: Items must be unused, unassembled, and undamaged.
  • Original packaging: Products must include all original packaging, manuals, and accessories.
  • Proof of purchase: A receipt, invoice, or order number is required for all returns.

5. Return Window

You must request a return within 30 days of delivery. Once approved, items must be shipped or dropped off within 14 days.

6. How To Start a Return

  1. Email support@hobbyistdepot.com or call 603-202-5827 within 30 days of delivery and include your order number and reason for return.
  2. We will provide a prepaid shipping label via email.
  3. Pack the item securely in its original packaging.
  4. Ship using the provided prepaid label or drop it off at an approved return location as instructed.

7. Methods and Fees

All returns are accepted via mail unless otherwise stated. A 25% restocking fee applies to non-defective returns. Defective, damaged, or incorrect items are exempt from restocking fees.

8. Specific Situations

8.1 Change of Mind

Items in original condition may be returned subject to a 25% restocking fee. Refunds are issued to the original payment method.

8.2 Defective or Damaged

If your product is defective or damaged, contact us within 48 hours of delivery with photos or videos. We will replace or refund at no additional cost.

8.3 Incorrect Product

If an incorrect product is received, we will cover all return shipping and provide the correct item at no cost.

8.4 Product Never Arrived

If your order is lost in transit, we will investigate and issue a full refund or replacement once confirmed by the carrier.

8.5 Cancellations

Orders canceled prior to shipment will receive a full refund. Orders canceled after shipment are subject to this policy.

9. Exchanges

We accept exchanges for the same or equivalent products. Shipping costs are covered for defective or incorrect items; otherwise, customers are responsible for shipping.

10. Refund Processing

Refunds are issued within 7 business days of inspection and approval to the original payment method. Your financial institution may take additional time to post funds.

11. Exceptions

  • Custom or made-to-order products
  • Perishable goods
  • Opened hygiene or safety items
  • Gift cards or downloadable software

12. Legal Rights

This policy does not affect any rights granted under applicable law.
